Breast Lift

This is the solution to sagging breasts that may come with the effects of aging or weight fluctuations.

What is it?

A breast lift, sometimes referred to as a mastopexy, is an operation to raise and reshape drooping breasts. It can also be combined with other treatments like breast augmentation or reduction to enhance the appearance of the breasts. Excess skin is removed during a breast lift treatment, and the remaining skin is then tightened and repositioned to give the patient a more youthful appearance. For a more natural appearance, the nipples and areolas may also be relocated.

There are several benefits one can hope to achieve with a breast lift. Some of them include the following:

  • Better posture
  • A more balanced physique
  • Improved shape, symmetry, and projection of breasts
  • Decreased sagging
  • Uplifted breasts
  • Cost & Pricing Structure
  • Before and After

How the Procedure Works

  • Before & Preparation

It’s critical to get prepared for a breast lift treatment to guarantee a positive outcome. Your surgeon will go over the operation plan and the logistics with you prior to the procedure. In the days preceding the surgery, you should abstain from alcohol and unhealthy meals, and you should stop taking any blood-thinning medications at least three weeks beforehand. You should also get used to sleeping on your back, fill any medications you’ll need after the treatment, run errands and stock up on food beforehand, practice sleeping on your back, and arrange to be driven home once the procedure is finished.

  • During the Procedure

In order to ensure the patient’s comfort throughout the surgery, general anesthesia is often administered before a breast lift. Next, cuts are made along the breast crease, extending downward from the areola. The breasts are reshaped by removing extra skin and tightening the remaining skin. The wounds are then stitched shut after the nipples and areolas have been adjusted. The duration of the surgery might range from two to four hours, depending on the approach used.

  • Aftercare & Recovery

To guarantee a successful recovery and the best outcomes, post-operative care is crucial for breast lifts. You’ll receive detailed instructions from your physician on how to care for your breasts following the procedure. This can entail using a supportive bra, steering clear of laborious exercise and lifting, forgoing sexual activity, and avoiding the sun. Additionally, your surgeon can recommend painkillers and anti-inflammatory drugs as well as scar treatments to help fade scars.

Treatment Areas

The breast crease, areolas, and breasts are all treated during a breast lift. In order to remove extra skin and realign the nipples and areolas, the surgeon will create incisions around the areola that extend downward and down the breast crease. The surgeon may also perform liposuction to reduce extra fat and enhance the shape of the breasts.

Am I a good Candidate?

Ideal breast lift candidates are in generally good health and have reasonable expectations for their treatment. They should also have too much skin, poor breast projection, insufficient breast volume, uneven breast tissue, and insufficient cleavage. It is significant to note that breast sagging can be treated with
breast lift surgery because of the effects of aging, gravity, nursing, pregnancy, and some inherited factors.
